The Chamber is:

  an independent, non-political, subscription-based association dedicated to promoting a business-friendly environment;

  an impartial, credible non-profit association, which enables it to negotiate contracts and secure funding for projects that benefit its community;

  comprised of members from every sector of the economy, ranging from small entrepreneurs to large corporates;

  involved in a number of initiatives to promote regional development, enterprise and skills development, training and business advisory services.

 

 

Membership


Eligibility

Any individuals, firms, partnerships, companies and close corporations directly or indirectly interested in, or association with mercantile or manufacturing pursuits, shall be eligible for Membership of the Chamber.

Any institution, society or association having objectives, wholly or in part, similar to those of the Chamber or any other trade organisation, shall be eligible to become an Associate Member of the Chamber.

 

Fees

Membership fees are R200 per annum. A once off joining fee of R200 applies to new members. Associate Members may apply to have the fees waived if they are a non-profit organisation.
