As you will know, your Chamber has been very active over the last few years and recent developments, pursuant to these activities have necessitated a review of the Constitution of the Chamber. You can also visit to familiarise yourself with some of the most recent activities. 

The Executive Committee of Chamber, at a meeting today, unanimously resolved to propose the adoption of the attached Constitution at a Special General Meeting convened as follows:

The documentsProposal to Amend the Constitution of the Chamber” and “Draft Amended Constitution” have been circulated to members and are available on request. The Agenda for this short meeting will be as follows:


Resolution proposed by EXCO:

3.   Amendment of Constitution

“That the attached draft be adopted as the amended Constitution of the Chamber.”

4.   Membership fees

“Annual membership - R200 and Joining Fee R200”

5.   Membership drive & 125th Anniversary

Members are encouraged to attend to ensure a quorum for this most important matter and are requested to be seated by 12h00 for commencement of the meeting.
