The Chamber is:

  an independent, non-political, subscription-based association dedicated to promoting a business-friendly environment;

  an impartial, credible non-profit association, which enables it to negotiate contracts and secure funding for projects that benefit its community;

  comprised of members from every sector of the economy, ranging from small entrepreneurs to large corporates;

  involved in a number of initiatives to promote regional development, enterprise and skills development, training and business advisory services.

New advertising signs

 

1 September - Internal

The Gateways Upgrading project will commence on 1 October. This will entail the upgrading of the R40 intersections into Barberton at Sheba Road and Generaal Street (Emjindini turn-off).

All owners of existing signs at these intersection will have received correspondence about the removal of their signs from both the Batobic Programme consultants and the municipality. Signs will have to be removed and will in future be accommodated on the formal signage structures being erected as part of the project. Sign owners are encouraged to ensure that their signs are removed in time and that they apply for space on the new formal structures.
